The DSM's timing belt went out a few weeks ago (my brother was driving then too ) so I scrapped it and got the Impreza from my uncle.

My dad has a Trailblazer and I really like it. Great for towing and it's comfortable. Plus prices are pretty good on them.

A AAA membership is excellent for towing.

It's a great tow vehicle - the short wheel base and tight turning radius make it great for maneuvering a trailer. And it has a 6000-lb towing capacity.

Ouch! Don't ever let him drive your Evo .

I guess I should just be happy that I got that rental and wasn't the one to break the timing belt.

Towing with a SWB sucks. It's a lot more bouncy and you can feel the tug and drag of the trailer. If you want a tow vehicle let me know, I have a 1-ton diesel that gets the job done and will pull just about anything.
