Heh, me too.
Im still missing a few things but I should be able to source them locally. I really cant remember if I drained the t-case or not so it looks like a long crappy time under the car for the last time... it prolly needs to be changed anyways.
Throughout the entire build Ive learned quite a few things:
1. Borchardts still sucks @ss along with every other speed shop in this state
2. Everyone tries to jew you
3. Never ask anyone for help, since they wont.
4. Dont buy a house in the middle of a build
5. Invest in a micrometer
6. LABEL EVERYTHING
7. Dont get a GF in the middle of a build (but worth it) but she got me killer stuff for my b-day.
8. Don't get hammered as often
And thats all I can come up with off the top of my head.
And for the record Strictly modified is doing the tuning for the car. AMS can suck my 3rd leg, they have been added to the list of don't call ever again.

alright so I'm kind of new to evo's still, and looking to go get my car tuned next weekend. i have fp4r cams and all the basic bolt ons. Now i was going to go to AMS based on their track record, but now that i am researching im hearing a lot of bashing on their rep....strictly modified seems like an alright place too after looking the m up...... not sure really what to do here, can anyone local throw me their opinion?
Are you serious?
I have had nothing but good experiance with AMS. They are the only guys I go to when I need my car tuned. They are one of the best shops around. Chris tunes cars down there now but he learned from Martin, who is arguably the best tuner in the Evo world.

Yeah thats what I originally thought, they are definatly the biggest too. Ive just been running across posts that said they were no good, thats why i am inquiring...well i guess if noone else has any beef with them, then thats where Ill probably end up going.
