Best guess is a bent shift fork. I think I would crap myself if I saw the dealer price on a new tranny. I heard of a used one being sold in the neighborhood of $1400, so I'm looking for something like that right now. Shep charges $895+shipping both ways for rebuild / upgrade, which might not be a bad idea. Otherwise, maybe I could be the first GSR to MR conversion... just need a donor car, Pete .

Nez - yes, the X does have a transfer case too.

Doh! I did an image search and grabbed the first that came up under GSR trans. Guess I should have looked a little closer. No, nothing's wrong with the T-case... yet.

yea and shep quotes an upgrade based on all your gears being usable, which yours should be, but dont be suprised if the bill is over $1000. mine was around 2k, maybe more.

Well for the Rear Wheel Drive. Maybe next WAI event on May 17th. Few of us are thinking taking out our non-evo cars and test it out and have fun. I got my IS350, Tom with his Charger, John with his Mustang, Alex with his S2K or G37, maybe Bill with his Impala SS.
tom has a charger? thats awesome!
