I've been there on a track day already with the track in that configuration... it is fun, however, I really didn't like the transition from the road course to the oval... was quite the THUD everytime i went over it, due to the banking from the oval.

I have a ton of pictures/videos from the event. It was wet that day, making it even more fun.

Pics/Vids here:

Here's a real good video I made a while back of both inside/outside views of a lap... you can hear the KA-THUD during the transition changes.

Wasn't me broken down. Any distinguishing features on the Evo? (stickers, carbon fiber parts, etc.)

Thats good to hear it wasnt you Nick!

Only other red evo i know of in milwaukee is a fully stock looking one owned by a guy who went by "Phat Kicks 1" -on forums, message boards, etc..it was stock looking, but not under the hood!

Oh yea-And theres a neighbor of my parents-guys 57 and has a evo! had a 03 RR that he bought after i took him for a spin in mine-he even bought the SAME wheel i did in a different color, NOW he has a 05 RR Evo MR (traded in the 03). Did the guy look in his fifties with whitish hair, gunmetal BBS stock wheels?

I was considering putting the SS suspension in mine, but I'm trying really hard not to go mod-crazy on it. It's comfortable and I want to keep it that way...

... but the lift kit, push bar, SS suspension, etc. are calling out to me.

(yes, I know lift kit and SS suspension are opposites )

Although I get out of work early today, I have to get some painting done in the house and move some things around so I am out again.

On a good note, my company made the front page in the business section today and CH12 will be here tomorrow morning doing some type of segment. Then if everything goes well, Dirty Jobs will be filming here in a few months.
