Milwaukee - America's Drunkest Evo Owners
thanks for the help! i'll check out Griffin when the Evo's come in in a couple months or whenever that is. the guys are Russ Darrow certainly didn't woo me with comprehensive knowledge of the evo either but they seemed like good guys. the salesmen i talked to said i should give him a call sometime and we could take an evo out for a test drive to mongolian BBQ and talk about options or whatever. seemed nice.

I'm planning on going to the Autocross this upcoming Sunday at Miller Park. Anyone know what time I need to be there?
OR
Is there even going to be one? Still says no sponsor as of today. Going to be disappointed if there isn't one.
Also, who else drives a yellow Evo around Milwaukee? Saw you getting on the Miller Park freeway while I was getting off. You honked and I just stared at you.
Oh gawd, this sounds like lost connections on Craigslist.

I used to have an 03 LY Evo. Doing a little cyber stalking on you I found out that your car has about the right number of miles on it and you bought it around the time I saw mine for sale again. I was hoping you had it. But you don't

Got mine at a dealership. Was Frank Boucher's of Racine. Car had 108k miles when I bought it. There's rust on the trunk under the wing and the left rear panel is fading yellow compared to the door's good yellow. Rust, I'm guessing, from the wing being previously removed without anything covering the hole. Fading yellow from it being a DD to everyone that has previously owned this car.

Rust between the wing and the trunk lid is somewhat common on 03's I know of a couple of 03's it has happened to that the wing wasn't removed from.
Jeske: I'm done for any weekday stuff for the year. August 1st marks the start of our busy season at work, and we are scrambling to get everything in. We still haven't performance tested the sites this year.

Its very relaxed.... doesn't even require prepayment.... virtually open lapping all day.
For you guys that complain about money, its $120 to run the entire day. At that price you'll have some left over money to pay for your gas to get there.
Regular hours for MAM Fast Fridays are from 9am to 7pm; Lunch break 1 pm to 2 pm.
Half day prices begin at 1pm.
Registration begins at 9:00 am track closes at 7:00pm
Members: $100 full day/$75 half day
Non-members: $120 full day/$80 half day\

Did my first set of cams and valve springs on a X over the past couple evenings. At first, reading the service manual, I was thinking they were going to suck.
Looking back on it, I think the cams are the same as or maybe easier than the VIII/IX. I think the valve springs are actually easier than on the VIII/IX.
