I had to replace an Axel seal way back. I wouldn't drive at all if my tcase was leaking.
On a side note I have a 4 ton that I use all the time. It's not too heavy, your all just a bunch of ******! Lol

Is anyone else coming to the Milwaukee Mile HPDE? Just wondering if there will be some festivities after the event. I wouldn't mind hooking up with the crew and talking some smack.
Is anything else jumping off in Miltown this holiday weekend?

Does anyone know if its part number #MR581295
If it were your car would you replace it before a long 16 hour, 1200mile drive?
personally im thinkin i may get one over nighted....
WHO did you say you just replaced one for-did you say it was Laakness i believe?
Laak-where did you buy yours? fix the leak? also do you have the part number (does it match the one i mentioned above?)
i talked to one guy who said it took him replacing it three times to stop the leak!

For future reference: Just go to the dealer and have them look up the part - they'll show you the screen and you can simply point to the picture of the part you need. For the time you spent digging up the part number and asking about it here, you could have just ordered the part you probably would have gotten it today.

My Craftsman race jack is pretty decent so far. I also have two other Craftsman jacks at my parents' house.
To Ken's point, though - they moved their manufacturing to China and the reason manufacturing is so cheap there is that they manufacture garbage. Ken's new jack was one of the ones manuf. in China.

Luckily today was a beautiful day for a bike ride to Milwaukee because my E brake wouldn't disengage this morning. Is there an easy fix for this, or do I need to disassemble it?

yeah, I backed it and forward a buch of times but it really doesn't want to move at all . When I pulled in the garage yesterday I slowed down with the E-brake because the HP1s squeeled really loud and I was on the phone. I wouldn't think that would hurt anything, but maybe...DOH.

I have two seals being over nighted right now.
I checked with Griffin, went there and everything (picked up some diaqueen LSD oil for theTC case) and the parts guy had no clue what i was talking about! he said 'that parrts number checks out, i just dont know if its the right one'. wtf!
--
Thats odd about the Ebrake, that happened on my old civic once-it was exactly as midnite said-and i could feel the tension cuz it was stuck. Ive even noticed it with the regular calipers, once in a blue moon or after a snowy day they may be somewhat stuck the next day

I do that a lot too (use the e-brake cuz the HP+'s are loud). Never had a problem.
Wonder if the cable is jammed or caught on something??? If you can get it to the dealer (trailer?), they can't deny you warranty on the brakes just because you built the motor.
