Hey guys,

New to the forum and am also from the Milwaukee area, planning on ordering a 2010 X just can't decide between the GSR or MR. I plan on DD the car and don't really plan on racing it because i have another car for auto-x. I am going to be driving a decent amount and plan on getting into some snow. So any thought or considerations? and i hope to see you guys soon if you have a meet once i make my choice

For a DD, you might want the MR for the transmission. But if you'll miss the throll of shifting, you might want to stick with the GSR. Also remember that the Evos are fairly expensive to maintain, so if you're going to be putting a lot of miles on it, be prepared to shell out the cash.

You might also want to consider the Ralliart - it's got the Evo MR's transmission and its still all-wheel drive and turbo. Just not as agressive looking or as much power as the Evo so it should be a little better on gas mileage. I think voodoout on here has one for sale, in fact.

I'd recommend Auto Integrity in Waukesha. Not exactly close, but they do great work. They repaired my Evo & a couple door dings on my wife's Si. A very quality shop from what I can tell.

On another topic, I drew my brother-in-law's name for a gift exchange, can anyone recommend some popular Wii games? I'm not into gaming at all...though I remember them fondly (my college days).

I would have also recommended Auto integrity. But they were shut down by the feds last year.

Supposedly they were ripping off insurance companies. It's a shame because their work was awesome.

Lithe.

New Super Mario Brothers is pretty fun. Kinda modern and nostalgic at the same time.

Man, I didn't know that about Auto Integrity...bummer.

Thanks for the recommendation Alex.

Beth wants an iPhone. I think we'll do a family plan and split the minutes since I don't really use many. Is there anything we should know? Any contract/plan traps or loopholes we should be aware of?

Careful guys, the mods here don't like stuff for sale in normal threads. We constantly get *****ed at but rules is rules on a free site I suppose.

i'm going with 2010 GG GSR with nav and SSS. Went to go place an order at russ darrow and the guy said he wasn't going to take a nickle off the price and i said see ya later.

Anyone have good luck getting a 2010 yet cause it seems like no one has one and you have to just place an order?

No kidding laak.

Kinda the reason I dont visit Evom as much anymore. Anything bad said about a vendor almost is a instaban. Plus the knowledge base in the engine forum kinda sucks. Ive been on a different forum lately.
