Piro,
Sounds like this is the . Should there be any hose connections to the wastegate/turbo solenoid when running the AMS 50 trim with manual boost controller? Anyone have any pictures on how the solenoid should be mounted in the stock location?
Nick,
My car has the AMS fan, so not sure how the fan control module should be mounted. If you have a picture that would be great?
Thanks,
Dan

For the fan control: AMS kits I've installed have still used the stock fan control - the new fan is just slimmer so it fits in there with the larger turbo. I'm not sure how critical it is to have airflow over the fan control, but the stock one gets bolted right to the fan housing the same way yours is bolted to the frame. With the aftermarket fan, there's no place to mount it, so the best would be to make a bracket, use wire-ties, etc. It's probably simplest to leave it as is.

However, It's been so long that I'm surprised Juan even remembered his password to log on EvoM!

Would anyone be interested in some ~300 mile Advan tires? I'm considering buying the BBS wheels but the seller doesn't want to separate...
Not too far away in Chicago either...please PM me & we can discuss!

I assume you have a boost controller of some sort (manual or electronic) so there is no need to connect any hoses to that solenoid. It just needs to stay plugged in electrically to keep the ECU happy.

Nick, thanks for clearing that up. I will cap off the solenoid. If anyone has a pic of the fan module mounted in the stock location please post?

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but here is a snap from the service manual that shows the assembly. I added some red lines to show how the holes on the module line up to the holes on the fan shroud.
