Milwaukee - America's Drunkest Evo Owners
Nick,
That gives me an idea how to fab up a bracket and mount in the stock location. Will need to talk about doing the head gasket and cam swap. I am thinking about having my head sent to Head Games as they have a special and have heard good things about their work.
Thanks,
Dan

Why not just mount the fan controller on the "frame" rail? I have mone there and it's out of the way of everything. Granted I use the AEM solenoid for boost and it fits right next to it.

Yea, I mentioned it's probably fine there. My only concern would be for cooling - it has a heatsink on the back of it and it may be mounted where it from the factory in order to get airflow across that heatsink.

Spotted silver EVO8 MR, with exhaust and wide gunmetal wheels- Yesterday afternoon, on I-43 south between browndeer & good hope. Asian driver I believe
I was in my white 91 MR2 with T-Tops off (first time this year). With an exhaust and wheels myself too (for now!)
Was it anyone on here?
Lithe? slyMR8? (both silver)
PS-anyone on here recommend a automotive painter/fabricator in the Midwest? Along with a good Toyota mechanic? I really don't want to have the work done in Colorado

A few of us here race AutoX at Miller Park with SCCA and/or WAI. We also often meet up at Hooters on Bluemound Rd in Brookfield on Thrusday nights.
We used to meet at Buffalo Wild Wings in West Allis, but haven't been thee in a while -- maybe we'll need a change of pace one of these weeks.
That's awesome, if your planning on coming to next event (WAI May 2nd) I'll be there, I normally drive my red BMW 325 but I'm possibly selling it and might sport the X or someone else car. Either way I'll see u sometime soon
