According to the parts dept. at Tri City on 27th, most evo parts come from Pocaro in Racine. They actually had what I needed, but said Pocaro has a lot of Evo parts in stock.

Also, Tri City is now an AMS dealer. I don't know how their prices compare, but may be more convenient than driving to West Chicago or paying for shipping.

Wink

I went down to don jacobs thinking the mitsu dealer was still there and it wasn't. Is tri city up further by like romines. I used to live on the southside but bought a house on the north. Seems like a new town when I venture to the southside. Next time I'm going to check out tri city. Felt kind of weird getting mitsu parts and everyone is wearing kia shirts.

Any recommendations for an experienced fender roller in the area? 265s were supposed to fit on the 18x9.5et22s without rubbing, but the rears are hitting on big bumps, and probably couldn't handle passengers. I think Neovas run wider than most.

I didn't use any grease so I can't comment on it. I bought a Whiteline roll center kit and had to replace a boot because it ripped during installation. Bought them new and there was already grease in them so I didn't bother adding more.

I guess I won't be auto-xing anymore. My friend really wants me to help him with his exhaust. If it isn't too late though, I would like someone to give him a ride and show him what auto-x is all about. He's always been a straight line guy so this would be a nice change of pace for him. Show him what an Evo is capable of.

That wasn't the ball joint, but still a great pic!

When I have bought ball joint boots, they didn't come with grease. I jsut used some synthetic all-purpose grease from the auto parts store for mine. I too had a slight clunking starting but greased it and put a new boot on and it's been fine ever since.

well started my lowering spring install and my compressor decided to take a crap on me. just bought it in november. i think i bought warranty for it. got it from home depot. really pissed as i only got the driver side done. probably gonna try the passenger side when i get home tonight. is it okay to drive with just the fronts done, or should i attempt to do all. this sucks.

Tri City Mitsu

Hey Guys,

Stopped in at Tri City after work today and talked to the Sales guys. Nice group of guys and willing to work with us on AMS parts sales with free shipping and OEM parts sales discounts to us as a group. I told them to get setup on EvoM and let the community know.
