Another thing to check would be the U-joints. Also it could be the upper ball-mount plate. I had it make a clunking noise as well and found out it was cracked.

Milspec TB?

Anyone running the Milspec 65mm TB? Thinking about sending mine in and getting it bored out to 65mm and the upgraded seals.

I forgot about that. I should check mine too, since I still don't know where my clunk is coming from. However, I didn't check the strut yet and it can't be good that I probably have over 100,000 miles on stock struts with lowering springs. I really need to step up to an aftermarket coilover setup.

my coilovers blew last summer so i decided to put stock kybs and lowering springs on to drive around milwaukee. the streets are cruel where i'm at. don't know if it's worse with the springs or coils. then again i still need an alignment but will do when i'm free next week. eating the **** out of my tires. but i just drive to work and back and that's it. about 10 miles total. want to put summer rims on but dont want to chew up the new tires i got for it til alignment is done.

I saw a yellow Evo on the north side with the JDM bumper. It was sitting in front of Beyond Engineering shop. To the guy that owns it, WHY?!?! WHY would you let Beyond touch your car!?!? I would never let them touch my car EVER. I've heard tons of horror stories from bad eBay turbos (yes, they use eBay turbo kits) to them stealing your rims off your car and them saying they got stolen from someone else. Next morning, you see your rims on the shop owner's car (yes, I'm serious, this actually happened).

I've been to that a few times. It used to be cool, before the huge police crackdown. I'll be busy tomorrow, so I won't be able to make it.

I know it's a little early but are you guys doing wings/hooters/whatever it is now on June 3? I have that Thursday/Friday off and was thinking of coming down to visit.
