did a driving school in an exige and was not terribly impressed. I mean, fun and all but the NA versions are like rwd swapped civics IMO. A cheap, minor modded S2000, put together for around 10k would be way more cost effictive/fun. My old S would run with the boosted ones and it was stock drivetrain, non-aero, with 100k on it. only mods were coils, r-comps and some jenny craig....
Having said all of that, I'm beyond just pure speed on the track now. I've had a couple of Evo's that I tracked a lot and while they would pass just about anything else on the track they weren't really a challenge. I've had a lot more fun in my S2000 than in the Evo.
Some awesome bonus points for the S2k over the evo.
Gets at least double the gas mileage on the track, possibly triple
Brakes last way longer on the S2000
Tires last forever in comparison with the Evo

I love our evo X. I miss my Evo VIII and IX. I enjoy tracking the S2K.
S2K rarely gets driven except to and from events, Evo gets driven almost every day.

Get it right Nez, I'm the only Asian in here. Laoprince is some Hawaiian or Mexican looking Asian. So no Asians, just Asian.
Damn your krauts-burning machine, but I do like them.

I wish I could decide on a RWD platform to have fun in. On track, the only time I feel like I'm really driving is when I'm on the verge of wrecking. Over the last 5 years, I honestly don't feel like I've improved my driving at all. I simply got faster by adding better parts.
I was danger close to purchasing an E92 M3 but don't think I could stomach the collateral damage that stems from tracking a car. The front of my nine looks like it has 100k miles on it and it only has 20k. Ever see that video of the E30 with V10... that would be fricken great!

One of the best things about the S2000 is how cheap everything is. I'll have to add up everything I've spent on consumables on the car in the 2 seasons I've owned it. It's not much in comparison to what I would spend on the evo in a season, and I've done way more events in the S2000.
