Was wondering who would notice that first.

Yep... gave the Evo to the wife for trade-in on her new Murano.

Gonna be rockin' the Ion next year for autocross.

It's been awhile since I've been in here and I know it's seems like I'm always full of Evo problems so here I go again. I apologize ahead of time. LOL.

So I failed emissions (again for the 2nd time) because of EGR Insufficient Flow code being thrown and CEL light being on. I got it diagnosed at AMS and they said to simply replace the EGR Valve so they ordred me one and I replaced it, than reset the OBD-II codes and drove around for a week and now the CEL is back on. I'm assuming that this also means that the Insufficient Flow code is also back.

Is there anyway to fix this at all? Or will I be permanantly driving around with a temporary plate in my rear windshield?

I am totally willing to pay anyone for their time and efforts if they can solve this neverending problem.

There is a EGR vacuum control solenoid that also may have issues. It controls the amount of vacuum pressure that gets to the EGR valve, thereby controlling the operation of the EGR valve. Also check the vacuum lines to make sure everything is hooked up properly. There should be a vacuum hose routing diagram on the underside of your hood.

Front hubs.... no need for slide hammer.. with everything taken apart, hit the old hub assy. with a hammer and punch to rotate 15-20 degerees. just to the holes do not line up. take the bolts from the rear of hub and thread them through from the front. tighten in a cross pattern and old hub presses itself out... my .02

That's a good idea... in theory. I think we actually did something like that on another one, but mine were so ceased there was no chance of rotating them.

Ok this is going to sounds really crazy, I think it just might be the tempetaure drop and is a coincidental timing, but I just replaced my air filter last week from Injen to the Amsoil replacement, My fuel mileage went down dramatically. I will keep an eye on it once it warms up a bit. I always get consistantly 350+ miles per tank, last fill was 245 YIKES.

I wish I got 245 miles on a tank. I'm only getting 210 without beating on it. But then I don't do much highway driving.

I got 260 or so doing all highway driving at an average of around 85 mph on a long road trip.

If anyone of looking for, or knows of anyone looking for turbos, I have a couple I'm trying to unload cheap. Could save some money by not having to ship them.

So I just drove the Evo in the snow for the first time. Went down 94 from Pewaukee to UWM and back. That was the most terrified I've ever been driving in the snow! I suppose I should have prepared a little more and changed from the Potenzas to the Blizzaks....

On a side note, I was watching TV and saw an Evo 8 or 9 (albeit in video game form) in an American Family Insurance commercial. Just thought I'd let you all know!
