I'll be checking the struts out tomorrow morning. Some other people have suggested that it might be the spring coming out of it's perch? Thanks for all the help!

I can't really see the problem but if you try to push down the struts, you might figure out the problem. One of my struts is blown too and it's also making a clunking noise. Push one corner down and let go and see if it bounces. If it does, it's prolly blown. Also, if it's easier to push down, it's blown. Compare it with the other side if you have to. And if you really want to, I'll show you how my one side is blown compared to the other side that's good.

Do you park you car outside or inside? The only reason I ask is because I've been noticing a loud "clunk" when I drive after my evo has been sitting outside at work in the cold, but it sounds fine when I have it sitting in the garage. I'm not sure if keeping everything "warm" would have anything do with it, but I notice a big difference not having the "clunk" sound when my evo stays warm before driving

I think what causes blown struts is the cold. If you hit bumps hard enough in the cold, it'll just blow on you. I never had any problems with my struts either this past winter. I drove on the same bad road all spring and summer and when it got cold, I still drove on that same bad road. It was really bad for my right side as that side gets the most damage from this one road. Now, the front-right side is blown because of the mixture of cold and bad roads. It was fine the entire winter up until maybe last week when I figured out it was blown.
