I wasn't replacing the ball joint. I just need the nut and bolt.

Anyone know of a "flat bed" rental truck or any place that haul my evo down to AMS? I need it tuned bad, but I can't drive it there because coolant temperatures keep rising to dangerous levels.

I actually did pick up some extras at one point. I might still have them at home, but I have to check (can't remember if I used them or not). You could also clean up the threads with a tap & die set.

When putting the ball joint back together, you do have to be careful to make sure the notch in the ball joint post is lined up near-perfect.

I like it.
And I think I still have one of those laying around somewhere.

Thanks but the dealer had the nut and bolt in stock so I picked it up last night. The notch on the ball joint was not lined up so the threads got all chewed up. I used a tap and die at work to chase the threads but since the dealer had new parts I figured better just go with those.

If anybody local is parting with some wheels I am in the market.

Would prefer 17x8.5 or 9", an offset that would not require rolling or spacers and lightweight.

Hey bill. We wont be back until tuesday. Heading to wine country today, and possibly the beach to see if any JDM parts washed ashore.

Well, I lived through a massive 3.8 quake yesterday. Didn't feel it but the airport was shutdown for an hour so we were late getting back.
