who bought the black evo with red rims that was for sale for 9 grand? i almost took out a loan for that thing.

he was a southside guy so im sure you saw him around.... he had a fair amount of work done on it too.


sidenote: anyone know a cheap place for porting and polishing?

AMS in West Allis, WI if you want some machining work done to the head. I asked them for a quote on porting my head and it was around $550. Didn't ask them about polishing. You would have to go in and talk to them yourself for an accurate quote.

perfect, thats right in my area.

p.s. anyone doing the cheesewheel rally this year? i think it would be fun to do with a bunch of evo's

I did it in 2006, it was fun, but basically a bunch of freeway driving. I would do it again.

what did they do at the "stages"? they told me there might be challenges... and how do you win if you cant just go ***** out and get there first?

Well it wasn't competitive at all when I did it. It was basically a huge group drive with lunch and fuel stops pre-arranged.
