Ouch man, that sucks. Yeah, I always remembered one thing for the end of June & beginning of July. If you're not at Summerfest then stay the hell away from downtown area at all costs. I'm willing to be things will be the same around DC for the 4th.

I went to the fireworks last nigh and OMG!! I didnt even get out of the parking lot to the road for an HOUR! By the time i got to the street it was already midnight which summerfest JUST got out! perfect timing I though(bastards!).

Fireworks was pretty good but i HATE the damn traffic for sure. Right when i got to Wisconsin/Milwaukee st. some dumba$$ rearended another car right in front of me. I was like WTF?? MORONS! THe drivers are idiots and then they drive like maniacs on the freeway. When i go to summerfest to watch shows and drink, I always take the bus since its so much easier!

BTW... What up folks.. whats goin down for the weekend?? I know the track event tomrrow, but how late does that go anyways?

Whats the car have to do with not seeing a concert?? YOu should NEVER let your car consume your daily lifestyle. I LOVE cars and always spend money on them, but the day I cant afford to go to Mcd's or some BS.. i throw in the towel and chill

I still owe 11k+ on my Lancer, and the warranty is gone. Once I sell the kit I can pay the car down to what it's worth, and kiss it good bye.

The Mazdaspeed Protege (MSP for short) has a factory turbo, full Racing Beat suspension package, LSD, seats that actually have bolsters, etc. The one I am buying has an extended bumper to bumper warranty (6 years, 100k miles, so four years left on that), I'm buying it for less than it's trade in value, and it would cost me $2500+ to get my Lancer where that car is off the showroom floor.

EVO would jump my car payment up over $400, insurance through the roof, and worse gas mileage, no thanks. Next car might be a used EVO, G35, M3, 540i, etc.
