Venting only causes a rich condition between shifts or any other time when letting off the gas, the conditions is not rich enough nor long enough to cause any lose in HP or TQ under any driving conditions. Drivability issues is the outcome of VTA with Karman Vortex mass air meters (DSM or Evo Mafs).

What about all the cars that don't run maf?

BOVs are for ricers. Real men don't vent at all.

What about them?
I am happy with mine and i have very little drivability issues which will be gone when i switch to speed density at the end of this month.
My hks will hold 30 psi with out problems. JDM tuners rarley recirc their cars ever so i don't see the problem. It was considered rice when the hondas with the 8 foot wings and folgers coffee can mufflers had them equiped
