laak - which color did you choose? The gold or the bronze? I have those wheel as you might remember, Gram Light 57S in gold, except mine are 17x8.5. Itll be good to see the comparison of 17 and 18" diameters in the same wheel. I am thinking of possibly getting a set of the "fake ralliart" Rota P45Fs in black with a red lip in 18x8.5.

I got the bronze wheels because tirerack didn't have the gold and has no indication if they will ever get them in stock again.

Exclamation Rear-Ended BUT not in my Evo IX!

Sweet!!! That will start my morning off good to see those wheels on your car in rout to to work every day.

Changing topics - My day officially sucked. I got rear-ended today on barker road (and bluemound). My girlfriend and I were (fortunately - sorta) driving the Type R and stopped behind some traffic at the intersection and this girl driving a silver Subaru Forester (apparently was not attentive) and crashed square into the back of my Integra at about 20 mph.

I had a moment to brace, as I saw the car approaching in the rear view mirror. However my girlfriend got hurt a little more since it was unexpected. My vocal half second, "OHHHHH NOOOO" did not translate into a chance for her to prepare.

She had to be taken in an ambulance on a stretcher to get some x-rays. Everything looked fine so we are moving about with no serious injuries but are pretty sore.

That was my fun afternoon. Off to the body shop this week to see if there is any major damage for the Integra. Car drives fine. Rear bumper took all the impact so maybe it's nothing much.

The weird part was one of the nice police officers ask in a serious tone, “what’s under the hat” (This is where I have my valentine one radar detector mounted). I could not believe that he actually noticed it nor cared to inquire what it was about.

Lady said it was all her fault to police so I’m not stressed about the outcome as long as we don't have any long term back issues.

Another crapy deal with the situation was that someone interested in buying my Type R was going to look/test drive the car THIS afternoon! Not surprisingly I took a rain check on that opportunity.

That was my lame day. Glad that my girlfriend and I are okay. And also very glad my new Evo was resting in the garage today.

Footnote: Be cautious around Barker and Bluemound!

Yeah, glad you both are ok. It could have been a lot worse...

That just pisses me off though. How do you not pay attention at Barker and Bluemound. It's a crazy intersection with a lot of lights. How the F do you miss a car in front of you.

LMAO!

They did just show up. UPS is lazy. He called our front desk lady and told her he didn't want to carry the tires up to the 3rd floor. He said he'd be back in 20 minutes and that I should go down and wait for him. What a D.. bag.

Anyway, they look awesome and I can't wait for nicer weather. I'll snap some pics of them tonight before they go and sit in the basement for another month
