Dammit. I just got called into work right when I got home from a meeting. Looks like the rest of my day is shot... heading back again to work. I better have an off day f'en soon.
OTH, I still want an xbox 360 for just a few games, but will have a ps3 also.

ok, but really, when you look at the graphics in HD can there really be a PC that will compare? We just got the first games for 360, they will only keep getting better. Look at the first ps2 games and then the last ....WRC, fun game, but looking back it had awefull graphics. That system was even ment to run a game like Gran turismo 4, but they did it with amazing graphics and gameplay!

Good luck tryin to pull that off. You would be lucky to get 1. When the 360 came out I stood inline at Wal-Mart for 11 hours ( at least it was inside and warm), and then I had my buddy stand at best buy for me from 9pm-12:30am so I could get another. It was cold as hell and I stood there from 12:30am till 9a.m.....NOT FUN! I made up for it when the other went on Ebay!

To any of you computer guys out there, that keep up on the new technology...
I want to upgrade from a amd barton 3000+ 400mhz fsb setup to either a:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (2.2GHZ L1 Cache: 128KB+128KB L2 Cache: 2 x 512KB)
Opteron 165 (1.8GHZ L1 Cache: 64KB+64KB L2 Cache: 2MB)
I'm not sure which cache makes more of a difference. For ram I was either going to get 1gb of the lower latency or go with 2GB...again I don't know what will make more of a difference. I wanted a notebook but this pc is giving me issues and I need a better spare for web dev. There should be more dual core choices out soon anyway.
