Good news people, laakness and myself are headed to the dragon on 4-20-06 thru 4-23-06. I only need to take 1 vacation day from work, hehe. If you want to go, gimme a call so I can get a head count of people to make reservations easier plus getting in on the group rate deal.
I would highly suggest you consider going, although it's not high speed driving once you drive the road you would appreciate it for what it is. Then when your on the way back home you will be trying to figure out how soon you can come back out there.
The drive is about 700 miles from my door to the center of Robbinsville, NC. So figure on a 10-12 hour drive.

Mike what I just found out is that this is the same weekend that the S2000's will be there. Their motel is fontana villageor something like that, I guess they have a pretty decent crowd but the motel is far enough away that the downtown robbinsville will still be open. The main Evo group was thinking somewhere just east of robbinsville, but the plans are not set up yet.
