But I certainly need to do some fuel re-tuning now: it's knocking enough that the UTEC retards timing. (My parameters specify to retard timing after 3 knocks.)

He's a good guy and a good driver too.. Focher took FTD away from me yesterday by 0.103.

It's got doors, but no hood, fenders, or front bumper
Actually, it only ran for about 30 seconds. I need to run a bigger gauge line to the fuel pump relay, as the new pump wasn't getting enough power. We ended up using a jumper cable directly attached to the battery (the other end on the lead of the pump) in order to make and maintain enough pressure to start the car.

and does anyone else here think of bolsen as the wizard from oz...no one ever sees him, just hear a comment or two every now and then

I might start a fight here...but let's talk about clutches again. I can tell my engagement point is getting pretty high and the feel is pretty soft now. I estimated that I'd be getting a clutch put in by the end of this summer so I want to start collecting my facts/information. I have 39,500 miles as of this morning on the stocker.
I know that dryad001 hates the ACT clutches but there seems to be a ton of people that really like them and they are holding strong. I've also seen the thread about fixing the "lockout" problem that people have/had.
The reason I'm leaning toward ACT is because of my current HP being below their street disk max and of course their good prices...especially if Fireball can still have Renner do it for somewhat of a deal and I really like the quality of their work.
My questions are:
How close to stock will it feel with the ACT street disk, lighter flywheel, and SS clutch line?
What about drivability, will it be like doing squats when stuck in traffic?
Any other input would be much appreciated.
I bet Nez's Exede is badass but I could burn through 3 ACT's for one of those
