giga- (the correct spelling!) was pronounced with the first g as a hard g, and the second, as a soft one! According to my Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (1993) the first (preferred) pronunciation is " 'ji - ge " (as in jiggle) and the alternative pronunciation is " 'gi - ge " (as in giggle).
sorry, my mistake

Honni, did you ever speak to Mr.Rothstein?
Opinions needed: I am going down to AMS on the 18th and 19th to have them dynotune and install various parts for me.
I was wondering if it would be wise / reccommended to use T-Bolts on my intercooler piping instead of the regular clamps (pic #2) supplied by samco.
Also would you guys agree that while they do all the parts i should also have AMS do a tranny/TC/rear diff fluid change ? They use the CORRECT fluids unlike mitsu dealers and actually charge less.
Any opinions greatly appreciated!
(I provided pictures of the differing clamps incase anyone needed clarification, pic#1 is the T-bolts, pic#2 are the standards)

T-bolts is the way to go. None of mine ever failed. Don't get the crappy NAPA ones either, I broke a few of those. The ones you want are in your first pic, they provide a constant torque clamp

Hmm, haven't had problems with the Napa ones. But yea, I agree, T-Bolts all the way.
Red, whatever you do, I would double check that they have everything in stock before going down.

I don't think I'm gonna go to the track tonight. Don't feel like spending the money and I have some work to get done. Plus, we're gonna take a look at Pete's Prelude later.
Honni, did you check your owner's manual? Mine says exactly what weight to use.
I assume you're prepping for the clutch install, right?
