I'll be up at BW's on wednesday if it's raining or a chance for rain. I want to see the Jetcars down at GLD from the announcing tower. i guess its suppose to look a lot better up there than in the stands. Thank god for the hook-ups.

Well here it goes.
I've been kinda quite about some things that have been happening in the last few weeks if people haven't noticed. About 3 weeks ago I had a job offer from FL come up and have been contemplating taking the job. I know I have been down there 2 times already this year looking and searching but with no good leads or poor paying positions. Also in the last few weeks I had the chance to sit back and take a look around to see what other available opportunities are around here and that came up very short listed. I thikn at my current job I have reached the pinnacle of the pay scale and won't be getting much more in the future, so I have almost my entire decision making process to be based on that.
I have a flight leaving at the end of this month to meet with the manager of the department I will be in, still in the plastics industry (can't get away for some reason). I am pretty set in my mind that if a position is offered, it's mine.
To tell everyone the truth I have been pretty unhappy living here for the last few months. Some of you might say "Why?". Well simply put. There is no where for me to go in this city anymore. I have done everything, know hundreds of people somehow, seen everything. There is just nothing else that this area or anyone else can offer to make me stay. I have often contemplated to start a different career or start a business but Milwaukee and it's surrounding areas is saturated with garbage markets and overpriced everything. Im still sort of young enough where I can still make a huge change in my life and will only set back my retirement age by only a few years (planning on the future). I need to settle down soon if I were to have a family (ahh yes heres the good stuff). Milwaukee isn't a place to raise a family anymore, at least not from what I've seen. The city is going down the crapper pretty fast if some of you lifers have noticed, theres no way I would have my family subjected to the BS that people dish out around here. Now Im sure some of you will say "It happens everywhere... blah blah blah" And Im going to say, No it really doesn't.
I still plan on taking my vacation to Portugal this October since I need to get the hell out of here again, so thats a plus.
So hopefully this is my most current and final, Im leaving post.
Nuff said.
