Kumho ASX - Cheap, decent all-season in the dry and wet, useable in the snow. probably best bang for the buck.
Continental Contact Extreme - Best all-season tire I've driven in the snow, not horribly noisy, but not quiet, rides good, handles OK in the dry, great in the wet decent wear. Loads of fun at Gingerman in the wet/slush.
Pirelli P-Zero Nero - Great in the wet and dry, better than the Kumho but not as good as the conti in the snow, quieter than the conti's.
If it were my money and I wasn't broke I would get the conti's. But I really don't screw around on the street much anymore. For the best dry 'summer' tire you can use in the winter get the P-Zero nero.
