This one is for the tech geeks. Here are the specs on my new gaming rig.

Athlon 64 FX 55 HT Processor
Asus A8N32 SLI Motherboard
2GB Kingston DDR400
(2) Geforce 7600GT running in 16x PCI Express SLI mode
Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS
(4) WD 320GB SATA 3 Drives in a RAID5 array.
19" NEC LCD
Antec 430W power supply and case

Got a free 320GB Seagate SATA drive with the processor. Newegg.com is the best, all the stuff should be here thursday/friday

Haha, no, none of the LED junk. My case is under my desk so it wouldn't even be viewable.

What are you going to be using to control the raid group?

Nvidia's chipset allows raid control directly on the mobo for any of the drives attached to the 4 SATA ports.

enough but I haven't built a box from scratch since high school, I've bought small components ever since to create more machines.

Let's just say it's a lot less than a 3065

GOD the computer I just specced out was 7500 buck. it had 2800 dollars worth of video cards though, (4 in an SLI config) Kind of pricy. but hey its the price you pay for gaming.
