Well folks, then new gaming pc is up and running with no major issues. In fact the 1TB Raid 5 array was the easiest part to setup.
Graphics cards are running in SLI mode. I did have to install older Nvidia drivers so that games didn't have quirky screen artifacts in them. I found a lot of other people having the same issue and the older drivers seem to be the only fix right now until nvidia gets their rear in gear.
I am however impressed at a lot of the tools Nvidia has for monitoring hardware and such (I've had an ati card for the last 1.5 years). Their "control panel" has a utility that will automatically "custom tune" your motherboard and vid cards to a overclocked safe level. Almost like a custom flash...run it until it's bad and then back it down and you're at the edge They even have tools to watch and see how a game is load balance the video cards as wel as another where i can overclock the bios in real time in windows and monitor the RAID array...friggin' sweet.
[End geek rant]

Mikey Update:
I just got off the phone with Mike. He was having a beer and said that he's been in Florida about an hour and a half. 4 total fill-ups and a average of 80mph. He said that he will try to find some internet access soon but if he cant he may not be able to post for a couple of weeks.
