story of the month

well boys i was stuck on the freeway in heavy non moving traffic for about 2 hours next to a cobra who was revving the **** out of his engine the whole focking time like we could race or even "display power" for any of that matter... i also had some jackass riding my rear bumper the whole time and i thought i was gonna get rear ended till i waived my "Erik mod" (baseball bat) out the window

after all that garbage i got off on miller park way and some headlights come flying up my a$s and then get next to me and pace me... it was an M3 with dark tint, aftermarket rims, and an exhaust... he started revving then getting on it and slowing down and that went on for a good while before i decided to give it to him..

after his horrible spanking he pulls up next to me and i see him staring at me so i kinda gave him the "haha i won" look .

he then starts to roll down his window when i notice the Milwaukee county sherrifs department badge on his shoulder.. he proceded to say "you want all the ticketts or none" and being the smartass that i am i said "well the video on my buddys camera phone says none"

he didnt seem to happy about that and decided to turn off of 43rd haha

i can now say i raced and beat a cop driving an M3 and got off scott free!

Who's coming down for New Years??????
I'll tag along with Honni, perfect combination cuban and a chinaman.

Yeah honni, we're gonna get in trouble out there, I'll be in more trouble. At least Honni can "talk" his way out down there.

And I know those were girls when you said you "HI" , cause mike's voice got all high pitch all of a sudden...

Yup, that's Sam. He's got a GTI that'll walk over any car in this room.

Dryaad, car isn't tuned yet, I"m just looking to get a base line.

Morning fochers!

So, I installed a MAP sensor for my UTEC last night, switched to closed-loop boost control, and switched to MAP-based tuning. I am really liking it so far and I haven't even tuned it yet. The boost pressure is very stable and from the few logs I have taken I can already see that I will be using the fuel and timing maps more effectively.

For those that don't know:
*MAP sensor: reads boost pressure
*closed-loop boost control: set the desired boost pressure and the UTEC shoots for that boost (the opposite, open-loop, you set how much the wastegate should open)
*MAP-based tuning: the engine load is determined by the boost pressure instead of the amount of air going through the mass air flow meter

Nick, I love the clutch adjustment. It's a lot faster shifting now.

Honni, awesome story!

Sounds good - we'll call you from Florida to see how you're liking the tanning salon.
