I got them from Tirerack. I got lucky and saw the blowout sale on the RE01R's before they sold out. Now they are all sold out of 265 and 255/35/18's. The only size they have available is the oe size 235/45/17. I wish I had a little more money so I couldve bought another set or two.
BTW, they were just delivered today!

Since my rims are 18x9 +30 I can fit...

265 35 18
255 35 18
255 40 18

The 265s will require me to roll the rear fenders.

Power mods include....
Fp Green, Revolver cams, springs and retainers, Ported hot side, exhaust mani, exhaust side of head, and 02 housing, Full HKS hard pipes with suction intake, Megan DP and cat del, 5Zigen 80mm cat back, HKS DLI II, AMS 780cc injectors and fuel rail, K&N small cone filter, AVC-R boost controller, massive tube and fin intercooler,

The small K&N is causing me to lose top end. It is far too small. I have a Buschur style cone coming this week. Then I can tune for more top end.

I am still working out the bugs with the AVC-R too. It won't hold stable. You can really feel it on a pull.

The goal was to build a fun daily driver that sees the occasional autoX, Strip, and hopefully road course. I wanted 400/400 so I planned my mods accordingly.

Loooks good Paul. I'd be happy with 400/400 for my car.

I got the high RPM issue fixed. Sure enough it was the small K&N. My HP curve now continues to climb all the way to red line. Spool now comes on a bit faster. Which is good, but also sucks because now I have to re-tune the entire power band. The entire pull is now almost one full point leaner. GRRR. Boost also went up about a full pound.

I am going to tune the fuel a bit more rich 11.2 to 11.5 for safety with 26 lbs boost. No knock of course. I think there is a lot more mid range in it. We need some warmer days so I can work on it.

Timmy.....get yourself a wide band. Then you can start tuning too.

Oh and FWIW....I am now averaging 24 MPG city driving.

OK so it is getting warmer.....WE NEED TO PLAN A MEET ! !

Start throwing around some ideas.

Anyone consider an Evo vs. whatever shootout at one of the local tracks?? I have some free time so I could easily coordinate something.
