Stock Advans will turn hard as a rock and will slide like mad. I made that mistake when I first got my car.....I don't know how I didn't destroy the car. It was like driving on ice skates but with no ability to control a turn. Scary ! !

That was the first thing I thought of when everyone was talking of going and playing in it. The chances of curbing a wheel are good.

I have a set of wheels I might be willing to sell if you are interested. Since I hurt my leg I had to leave my Forgelines on...so I have my gunmetal 17x8.5 Gram Light 57s wheels sitting in the garage.

Sent you an email. The funny thing was it was after I was done "playing" I was leaving the lot and just started sliding. It wasnt too fast but my front hit pretty easy but then that swung my rear hard into the curb. I honestly hope its just the wheel if anything and I didnt do other damage. Its a little out of alignment, but hopefully thats no big. I will keep everyone posted...

sucks to hear that man. Ive blown a BBS before, hit a chunk of curb laying in the road just over the crest of a hill - almost like someone put it there intentionally. literally ripped the wheel apart and put a golfball sized hole in the tire. luckily found someone on here selling a single MR BBS, so I picked that up...side note - my steely has like 300 miles on it

I have a set of Milla Miglia wheels with snows already mounted....The snows will last about one more season....I'll sell them CHEAP!! The wheels are already curbed up so winter wheels are about all they are good for. They weigh a ton too which helps for winter snow driving.

Im going to Midas at the corner on Airway and Woodman at 4:15 to get the car on a lift and scope the damage. I'm praying that I just need an alignment and a wheel.

Stay tuned...

OUCH.....Curbs suck.

Search around on here....people sell individual wheels all of the time.

OR

There is a place in Northern Cincinnati that does wheel repairs. I will find the name and post it for you.
