So this morning on my way to work I saw a GG Evo X with what I think was the aero kit and the taller wing, going North on Route 4. I was driving a base GG Evo X heading south on Route 4.

i finished my basic setup now and getting tuned a couple weeks tell me what you think:

bc 272 cams
255 walbro
fic 850 injectors
ams licp
cobb intake
ebay front mount(i dont have 800 to buy a good one)
3inch dp
perrin hfc
magnaflow 3inch exhaust
halman in-cockpit mbc


cams and injectors are not installed going to wait until a little bit before my tune. im hoping i can hit high 300's

 

Your goal is a little lofty with those mods. The turbo will be holding you back big time.

Let me know if you need those cams and injectors installed.

well i swapped the 9.8 for 10.5 for free they were shipping that evo over seas and asked me if i wanted it so free is free, spent a couple hours installing

but heck yes ill give you some gas money and we can buy some beers and get it done. and by chance if u wanna tune it while we are there. ill throw some cash at you for your generous knowledge!!!

my goal is to hit low to mid 12'sim pretty sure ill break into that category

 

You will easily get into the low 12s with those mods. I ran 11.99 without cams so it is possible. Our track here is pretty quick.

As for your offer for me to drive up....I would prefer for you to make the trek down here as I have a very well stocked garage. No need for beer....I don't drink the stuff.

If you are looking for a meet, there are several that are up in the Dayton area that post in here. You all should come to the Winged Warrior event in IN on the 8th. So far it is just me and Tim that are going.

You can add me to the list, just bought another GSR last weekend this time an 08. I had a 2005 GSR before when I was stationed in Utah, with HKS cams, HKS turbo-back, 660cc injectors, tune, HKS intake etc... etc.... Then I sold it like a dummy. I just picked this car up in Indy last weekend and love the 2008 Evo X. I don't plan on selling this one. I've also had a 1997 GSX Eclipse for 6yrs back in the day and had it decked out. Let me know about meets etc....
