But the problem still exists. Curious if anyone has some feedback, maybe mass air. I dunno. But the aftermarket fuel pump sure is proving it can pour in the fuel.
Does it act the same after a battery disconnect/reconnect? Any idle irregularities? Is it tuned? Bad gas? Could be a ton of stuff. I had this happen to my car--replaced upstream O2 sensor, cleaned off maf sensor, replaced plugs, etc. Nothing seemed to help except to get it re-tuned..

no irregularities in the idle.. and it was retuned not even 7-8 months ago. yea replaced the precat o2, havent messed with the post cat, but i dont even have a cat exhaust. its straight piped. So i dont see the real importance in the post cat. it will cut in and out at hwy speeds...sometimes holding an okay airfuel mixture, then will bog out to a 10.0 and i can feel the car lose power. and 2 are there any good shops around in the dayton area?

This might sound wierd but similar happened to me. I used to have a cpe hfc before my current ets. My afrs were all over the place. I also smelled gas a lot but couldn't find any leaks. I found that the weld fit the cat to pipe was broken 80% around the pipe. I took it off to get welded, they told me that the weld was fixed but the cat material came loose inside. This was not allowing smooth flow and was spinning inside the pipe ( not supposed to). Got new hfc, no more issues. Since you checked everything else, pull your cat and see if it moves inside.

yea ive got no cat, just a buschur 3in straight pipe. and the last tune i recieved down in nc has my 264 cams cause my car to skip idle a bit. as in it reads rich for a sec, then leans it out, thenits too lean so it richens back up...constant back n forth. but as far as flow goes, i should have quite a bit lol

Anyone know of a good shop (knowledgeable in DSM's) in the Dayton area? I need to get back home (Pittsburgh) ASAP and the ol' evo decided it wants to run on three cylinders (i think)

Jay Racing is in Dayton and he specializes in DSMs/Evos. I would go to him over TIC any day.

Brad doesn't work there anymore, but Tony or Pat can very easily fix your problem.

They are the only place I let touch my car, if it's something I can't do.

I've never had any experience with Jay Racing so I can't comment on that.
