Honestly I have no clue, Greg. Let's see if their word is any good today -- they said they received the Xede yesterday and that it would ship back to me, over-night, delivering today.....
something about holding my breath creeps to mind....*sigh*

Oh, Vishnu's Xede has this over-temp protection built into the Xede. In case it gets too hot it will shutdown -- supposedly this has worked well over 150F. Well in a batch of Xede's they noticed that it's too sensitive and it causes the car to either 1) cough and burp while driving with no boost over 12lbs or 2) won't allow the car to run all together.
The only solution I had at the time was to take the Xede OUT of the car, put it in the air condition for 40 or so minutes and then plug it back into the car. Real convenient eh?
So their fix is to solder to points on the Xede to disable this over-temp protection all together -- which is fine by me! I just want the damn thing to work. Greg makes a good point -- they could have saved me all this time, money and aggravation if they would just have told me what to solder.
Their reason for not doing it was that someone could break the Xede and the expect Vishnu to warranty their fix. Pretty weak I must say, if I break it I wouldn't expect them to replace it. Time is ticking away and the FedEx man has not shown up here at work. Crappy...really F'n crappy!

OK so I spoke too soon. Too my suprise the Xede just arrived at the front door. I won't get too excited yet -- I want to see if the car starts and I need a hot day to test the fix. I'm hoping for hot weather this weekend -- any chances of that? ...(starts checking weather.com)

That is truly amazing. Hopefully it still works.... Today is supposed to be the last 90+ day for a little while, go home and put it in at lunch time!
On another happy note my harnesses, gloves and neck roll just showed up. Hooray.

have it delivered to work? are you wearing all of them right now?
Oh, yeah I did get the Xede back in the car and it started! Yay! It made it back to work without issue. I'm glad it's going to warm up I want to know if this fix is for real.
If I start the car and it does not turn over....I think I may just go nucking futs!

Yeah I figured Greg was wasting valuable company time -- I wouldn't be suprised if he was sitting in a chair with wheels and having one of his employees push him around while he's making motor and tire squeeling noises.

Did anyone here have an accident on I-275 this morning? A coworker said he saw an Evo totalled on the side of the road this morning - it was either silver or grey.
He might be wrong about it being an Evo though. He said he saw a similar wing and assumed it was my "kind of car". Hope everyone is OK either way.
