I hope that by the time I get home you are the EcuFlash master. I will need some assistance getting my car running right. Ever since I put on the 10.5 its been running odd at midrange. I tried plugs, coils, wires, and even turned the boost down...all to no avail.

I might be down for a little Tri State action on Sat. I finally got a new batt for my laptop and did some logging last night. Zero knock, so I am a happy camper. I need to launch it a few times off the 2 step to get used to launching AWD again. I did the first launch ever in the car last night and slipped it a little too much. I have to remember it is not my DSM.
Speaking of the DSM, I just ordered up a brand spanking new GT35R from Forced Performance last night. This is the last piece of the puzzle for that car, hopefully I can have it on the road before the end of the year.
And speaking of getting parts from the dealer, all the DSM guys use Performance Mitsu up in the Kings Automall. They give us a 10-15% discount on parts for saying we are part of Club DSM, they also give me the same discount on my EVO stuff. Sue is the parts manager up there and she knows her ****, the other guys that work there are very knowledgeable as well. I hate to drive all the way up there so I usually have them ship stuff, which they do as soon as they get the part for a cheap shipping price. If something is getting shipped to them and you tell them to ship it to you, they just have it drop shipped and charge nothing for shipping. My last order was a 6 pack of filters.

Sounds like we could have a good Evo turnout at Tristate. Should be fun! The track opens at 1:30 and racing is from 2-6 I think. I'll probably get there around 2. I wish I could do a little more tuning before Saturday but my laptop is being repaired

BTW, Brendan if you need filters I will swing by Wyler if you want me to. The dealer is only about 4 miles from my house. If you are going to Tristate you could get them from me then.

What RPM did you guys set your stationary rev limiter? I have mine at 5500 rpm cause that is what I used on the DSM when it was stock, but it seems a little much for this car. It just makes the clutch slip, even if I dump it without slipping. Time for a new clutch I guess.

Well the first time you do launch the clutch will slip -- during the season of autox my first one would always do that. However, after that first run the clutch would grab. My 2 step is at 5500.
Greg and Eli told me to "sack up" and do it at 6k like them....i just don't have the twin disc like they do

Tristate is 2-6. As of right now I am planning on running - I swapped in the donated LICP hose tonight, so the car is mostly ready. It will be more of a tuning session for me though, so I don't expect to come anywhere close to the time in my sig. Maybe I'll drive up on the RA-1's....

slotted and dimpled rotors.....290 SHIPPED for a full set.
They are even zinc coated for reducing rusting.
You can't beat that price anywhere. This may be the solution to your brake fliud boiling issues.
