i was at the track last friday (the 7th) and the announcer was a total A$$ and was ripping on imports all nite, "Oh look at that another Import getting beat by American Muscle" and just kept ramming them all nite long, anyways l was sticking up for everyone, and this guy just totally won't give up, he wants to race an import in his car that he says makes 1300 WHP, anyways here is the forum that its on, if anyone knows of any import that could beat this guy it would be great to shut him up, check it out and let me know what you think:

My friend's 8.78second street awd talon would probably do it but I doubt he would drive all the way to wisconsin, unless there would be a lot of money involved.

if yur friend felt confident enuff to do it, like the guy said in his last quote the betting will start at $1000. if he had that kind of money to throw down even if he wouldn't, maybe we could even start to take donations and have people put in like 20 bucks to do it and watch it, i'm sure there are enuff people on here that would love to witness this, and even if you couldn't make it i would be there with a video camera thats for sure to put it on the interent. either way it would be awesome

There will always be bashers out there for imports!! ppl have nothing better to do really.. especially when they know first hand that a car with less than half the liters can put down raw numbers in a 4 banger.. and sit there at idle with our a/c on programmin the $hit outta it.. while they are sittin in sweat box and have to throw it up on a trailer and haul it home til the next trip... at least usually we'd be able to drive it there and back! haha.. suckas!

 

Haters suck, AMS's evo went 9.48 at GLD....and they drove it there legally!

 

an Rx7 in stl has gone 10.3....he drove it there and back. and drives it around a lot. used to drive to/from work,til he got the tune he has now...c16, no pump gas tune lol.

 

i know i love it, i mean i have respect for people that give it back. of course there are v-8's out there, that can beat people, and it swings the other way. if you can handle that my 4 banger beat yur v-8 on the track, then i give you more respect, even WHEN i lose i will go up to the other racer and say good race, if they just turn their noses up or act like it no big surprise then FA-Q
