Hey Sarah which CC do you work at? I figure if I'm going to get it done it should be from an actual evo expert! I have the SSL so I don't know if most CC's have the adapter on hand or need to special order it.

 

I work at the CC in Algonquin. Yeah, we usually carry the amplified mitsu harnesses, but im not too fond of them. its the cheap way of bypassing factory amp so you dont loose your sub and such.. but if you want to keep stock speakers, it works.... ( you just need to buy a deck with 2 RCA preouts) if you want to keep your fading or balance

I left Circuit back in November...the low pay was not worth my time anymore.

As far as Headunits, Sarah hit it on the head; Eclipse has excellent units. Wait until March for the new models to come out. I'll be picking up a CD7100 for my IX SE as well .

 

I'm Morris, for introduction purposes. I've stayed pretty hidden in the Evo world until recently. I work out in Lake Forest at Grainger HQ and live out in Volo (Fox Lake Area). I think just from reading all these posts I just have a good idea of who is who. Anyways, my fingers are killing me from moving all the innards apart just to put in some under hood bushings so I'm going to bed. Thanks for the info on the head unit s to the both of you. Spotted a silver 8 or 9 on 355 going North last night around 7pm. Then saw a white one heading North on 355 (might have been exiting for 90) at about 9:30 or so.

 

evo 8 white lowered with blue or purple rims and exhaust...pretty nice i was in the black 9 se

Haha, I always see you but I didn't have the time to post. I will probably see you again today since I am working. I did get a decent pair of AO46s in about 2 months ago but I sold them.
