Cosmetically, not the prettiest. Have road rash on two rims due to a confrontation with a very high curb. I can bring it by the shop if you want to take a look. I'd like to upgrade but I'm afraid of the price tag for new rims/tires.

I will be at Rock Falls a bunch again this year for anyone who plans on taking their EVO to the strip. I met quite a few EVO owners at RS when Al did flashes there last year and saw Ron a few times at Rock Falls. It was a good time other than being so damn hot out! I used to be part of Minnesota 3S too. Curt is a great guy. It would be cool if we got a bunch of EVO's, 3S's and DSM's to one of the sport compact events at Rock Falls.
I was thinking about trying to get a Midwest meet togegther to also go to www.tristateraceway.com. June 25th and September 24th are street legal drags/sport compact day. They also do grudge matches. If we get enough cars, we could get our own class. It is centrally located between Chicago and the Twin Cities (about 4 hours). It would be cool to get some of the Midwest shops involved from both locations such as AMS, RS, and Elite. It is an all concrete track and is one of the best in the nation. It also slopes downward the max that NHRA allows and is known for setting records. There is camping available at the track and cheap hotels near by. I usually drop one to two tenths over my best times at Rock Falls when going there. Let me know if anyone is interested for either date and if we can get some numbers, I will talk to the manager.

I talked with the guys in Brooklyn Park and they said they'll do 27.5 but only offered me 4k for my trade in(00 civic Si with 75k miles) so I told them I would check out Metro and be back later on if I didn't get a good deal. I previously went to Metro to look at the silver evo and the sales guy said he can get it for around 30k and 8k for my car which I thought was a great deal. But when i went there the guy that told me about this deal left work early and I was working with this other guy who was really trying to bully me. He was telling me that they are selling the Evo at MSRP and that they wouldn't go down because they don't have to. I asked him why I should buy an 8 when I can buy the 9 for the same price and he just shut up. So I told him to STFU and give me my keys back because during the negotiation Brooklyn Park Mits called and said they can give me 7k for my car. At that time the sales guy tried to keep me from leaving and wanted to work out a deal with me but I him that I would not deal with him because I felt uncomfortable with his sales technique and left. I got my Evo for 27k - 7k trade in then add ttl. By the way the car had 250 miles on it because they said they took it to an auto show. I haven't modded my car yet so I don't know how friendly they are with Mods but the sales guys are pretty cool and laid back. He actually told me anything from the cat back should be fine. Just don't put in a CAI and expect it to be covered when you suck up water.
There are actually 4 mitsubishi dealership in the Twin cities. Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Forest Lake and Maplewood. I heard the one in Maplewood is pretty good also so check that out. If you go to Brooklyn Park use my name so that I can get 200 bucks! I'll split 100 with you. Overall I would say Brooklyn Park Mitsubishi was 8 out of 10 because they tried to low ball my trade but in the end it worked out for me.

Are there any Stations in the Cities that sell anything over 92 octane? I saw a station in North Minneapolis that sold 100 oct once. Not sure i'd trust it was 100 oct though taking in consideration the shape of the Station, the pump and the part of town it was in.
