Yeah, thats me. I thought the megans worked great, but I definitely learned I am no where near an excellent driver. Overall I had a great time and learned a lot. The thing I learned most is that this type of event, like most, really boils down to the driver more than the car. I think my evo is pretty quick, and I had a Saturn make a quicker lap than me. I definitely suggest that everyone try this, no matter what you drive they have a class for you. Unfortunately my plans for my evo have no classification b/c I plan to run a meth injection and they don't allow fuel additives, only a higher octane is allowed. So my mind is now running wild about a Lotus Elise after watching those guys run. On a side note, my stock clutch is slipping like crazy after I let my coach try driving the course. I launched out of the gates pretty decent, with no hint of clutch in the air, then the teacher drove and I had to walk away from the car. I am glad that I did let him drive it however b/c he showed me what he thought the car was capable of and he only beat me by .035 seconds. Yes he beat me but he has been doing this for 12 years. This was my first time. I will be back for another run at this, but first the new clutch will be going in on thursday. It was great meeting everyone and I hope to run into you all again soon.

Btw, SCCA Event #1 this weekend has reached the 170 drivers cap, however, there are always people who don't show up (some don't like the weather they see Sunday morning, some are season pre-registered, but can't make the event, fill in whatever reason you think is probable) so i'd recomend contacting the registrars and putting your name down on the waiting list.
