Is there any Evo owners close to Sioux City, Iowa??? If so where you from?

 

Hey man, I've pm'd ya. I'm nearby, but not as knowledgable (yet) with evo's compared to hondas/acuras...


If you're looking for someone who actually knows something about evo's...i'd take it to excessive autosports here in sf. Joey previously owned an evo (modified), he could at least take a look at it to see if there's anything visually wrong...He's very experienced, from a 10 sec drag crx, to domestics and even muscle cars..

Has a dyno, but I don't think its for awd's.... Let me know if you need their number or web addy...

Hey thanks guys, just wondering if any of you guys have mods??? I have a Buschur Racing Stage 5 kit with HKS 272 intake and exhaust cams and a Buschur Racing Race front mount intercooler, didnt know if you guys every make it to sioux city or if there is any cruising areas in your areas and when you go out... let me know. Either PM me or put it on this thread. There isnt any other Evos in Sioux City

theres a crusing area here ...but it sucks. LOTS of highschoolers and tourists... its usually a mix bag. half of me likes to do a round through and just see the faces ...the other half just wants to massacre every dumbass that revs at me. its both humorous AND annoying. i never stay long though, just not worth it.

id rather waste my gas out just driving various roads... and yah, i have mods. ive spent lots on this car. lol

 

well man come to sioux city on a Friday or saturday night and go out by the pavillion by the river boat, it is crazy out there at night... also if you want and are serious abot coming just pm me and i can drop you my cell number

 

sounds interesting ....i might do it. my friends keep bailing on me in the weekends so wakeboarding is kinda scarce.

 

make time to roll down to omaha at some point.

there are a couple of great evening car hangouts just a few blocks from my house. car shows every wednesday, thursday, and saturday nights(cruise ins).

if you are into this sort of thing, i even hear that there are (GASP!!) street races...

20 minutes south of town, in glenwood iowa is MAM(mid america motorplex). 1/8th mile track, run what ya brung most friday evenings. that place is a mad house.

anyways, what part of sux is that in the pic? i grew up in m'side, right by ehs.

I'm near Des Moines. Might have to have a midwest meet sometime to get everyone together. Do any of you guys ever make it out to MAM? I think it would be cool to get a big group together and rent the road course for the day...Just a thought.

I ran at CF a few weeks ago. Didn't do too bad but I have a bad wideband so my car is still running way to rich. My best time was a 12.879 @ 107.82 on 91oct. I don't drag the car much at all, my main thing is road course and autoX. Not to brag or anything, but I won first place in the 2005 DMVR SCCA Solo in the SM class running just tbe and a dynoflash
