Hey guys, just wondering if there are any Chicago area Evo and/or Mitsubishi clubs. If so, I would appreciate any info. Thanks

 

There are no evo clubs we just call out a meet and people show up if they can.

There's chicagovelocity.com or something like that. I've only used to it to post cars for sale and/or look for cars personally.

There's some myspace group as well, but it's not like there's a lot of people posting up things on it. Not sure what it's called right now, but I joined it and like never check it.

 

actually there is the Midwest Lancer Club... Its not evo specific, there is a good set of regulars that always show... we used to have MLC meets once a month, we have slowed down lately...

 

also in the summer time we try to get together at streets of woodfield in schaumburg on thursday nights....

I live in wicker park, but my evo is at my parents. I dont think i could ever bring it up here and park on the streets. I am afraid it would get hit, backed into or something

 

i think thursdays at streets are going to be continued when it'll be warmer

 

Summer at the streets sounds good.... as I had mentioned I am in LP, but I have a garaged spot....that is the only way I would do it down here!!!

 

I'm at school here at UIC downtown with my car, but I live up in Glenview. Certainly PM me if theres a meet, I'm always down.

 

Yeah we should get those summer meets at Streets going when the time comes. I like car meets there or downtown Chicago for a bigger one, I guess.

 

I'll be in the area in like 2 months. Currently looking for somewhere to live (rent, probably). I'll be working up around the Great Lakes area (Navy stuff) but I'm down for driving 30-45 minutes to get to where everyone hangs out at. Any good suggestions on where I should stay? Covered parking is a must.

 

Im thinking areal Chicago meet. Lakefront? by field Museum? lots of parking etc.
