Talking SnowBoarding/Skiing/Evo Meet at Cascade on 2.18.07

All this snow is making me crazy. I am at work all day and can't enjoy it. SO, I think it is time to have another meet... This time at Cascade.

Who:: This is open to all evo owners and friends.
Where:: Cascade Mountain in Wisconsin... http://www.cascademountain.com/default.php
When:: This Sunday the 18th of February
Purpose of the trip:: To enjoy the snow, and the outdoors, NOT THE PARKING LOT.

You do not need equipment. I have never been there, but it seems like a great setup for the region we live in. I know this is on short notice but when it snows you need to be there soon afterwards to enjoy it. The site listed above will have all of the travel info, etc. that you will need.

All in all this is an auto enthusiast site, and this meet is related to both Evo's and outdoor recreation, but this should be more of a meeting site to have fun and enjoy the snow and less about standing in the parking lot talking about cars. Though that will happen, it goes without saying. We should focus more on the fun to be had on the slopes(hills).

I'm there usually every weekend so I'll be on the hills between 9 and 10 unless something else comes up

Damn I have a soccer game that weekend in Fondulac. I could make it the weekend after that when it is my break from college, if any EvoM's will be there.

Just got back from Cascade...needless to say I may not be able to make this meet now. Shattered my right binding on a funbox and did a number to my head and my shoulder. I plan on ordering up some stuff either tonight or tomorrow and have it 2 day air shipped to me so it all depends on if it gets here and how I feel.

As for the weather: there was little to no new snow up there today nothing at all like we are getting hit with here (rockford)

Ouch, sounds painful. I need to order some gear too, as I still dont have anything I would want to go snowboarding in, jeans dont insulate very well. Hope things work out with the binding.
I am thinking Chestnut Mountain might be a better choice because of the snow they probably got last night. I will check it out and post any updates by the end of the day.

Get better.

I plan on going as often as possible now that I am back in town. So if you dont already have plans for next weekend, I will probably be going again. Not sure where though, depends upon snow fall.

Ohh well part of the game.

I ordered up a new board and bindings (didn't really need to but did anyways ) and got them 2nd day air shipped. Hopefully will be here on Friday so I can go sat and sun.

Regarding Chestnut, I personally feel that Sundown is nicer and maybe 30min father west.
