bambi's brother and father met their maker this weekend, so maybe now i have ran out of excuses for working on the evo... going to measure the throttle body when i get home tonight so i can get the correct on ordered and here.
did everyone in indy know that there is an AWD dyno here in town now?
my friend that works there told me that supposedly an AEM rep was going to be there the first or second week in december.... my car may go on that dyno locally for tuning then....

Yes. I have seen it and I am just trying to fine tune my car before I hit the dyno. I tried to get on it a month ago before I did my cams so I could have a before and after, but they were too busy with SEMA stuff.
It seems like more of a rice shop, IMHO. But I talked to one of the guys that works there and he seemed like a nice guy. I don't know anything about their tuning abilities just yet. Its just about 5 minutes from my office too so one day I need to head over there and do some dyno running over lunch.

it is more of a ricer shop, thats how most of the shops make the bulk of their money...
Lee M is the guy i know there, and he told me about that rep being there in dec.
as far as their personal tuning capabilities, i am not sure. i don't know who else works there. if you know how then great, you have a close AWD dyno.
other than that not sure.
would be nice if we could get AMS to go for a road trip!

I did talk to the shop you sent me to and they were showing some interest in possibly renting that AWD dtno once in a while for some tuning. And I believe your guy there has been to the AEM class, though he is not a fan of AEM??
This is all just rumor though.

not sure, i do believe its a brake dyno thought, not sure what brand
that shop on the north side started out using FAST/Speed Pro on their civic before the AEM came out, and they continued using an updated version of that instead of switching to the aem. i had that system on my civic (they installed) and it worked great, i just think they are a little hesitant because of how complex the aem is vs the speedpro

It is a DynoComp... so basically a dynojet that is in digital scale.. (more advanced than a regular dynojet).. I went to E-Motor with a friend that has a WRX and it went well.. It took them a while to put the straps on and everything, but for the most part.. it was a good experience for him.
As far as the shop goes... It is DEFINITELY "Rice..." but their prices are good and have heard they are getting a good AEM tuner (not beneficial to me, but could be to some).
There is my input
