Sweet "call out."
Most likely I'll sell my SE-R beater before winter next year and I have plans to purchase a daily driver for when I don't drive my EVO. I'm thinking pretty hard about a 98-05 Subaru Forester (no XT turbo...just a boring, basic "car like" SUV.
I made the mistake of buying a super clean, low mileage EVO. I'd really feel bad about putting it through these Nebraska winters with all the salt, chemicals, and sand they throw on our roads.

I won't be at the meet, but here's some pics of what's been going on with the car:
Taking a stand against lowering springs:
I installed my steering wheel and quick release tonight, only had to come inside 3 times to regain feeling in my hands:

Wait a sec, aren't you getting a Screw-ba-ru as a beater? I bet all the les'-bos are gonna go gaga everytime you drive by (I don't hate Subarus, really!)
Nubby: When are you gonna take a pressure wash to the inside of your car?
p.s. I think you need to raise the car some more

The EVO on the other hand looks like a plain ole boring white family sedan (no wing, VII tails)...just like I like it. Actually I did have some cute girl at a drive thru somewhere ask me if it was an EVO which completely suprised me.

If you have room for one more I'd love to come out and meet everyone. I've had my EVO for about a year and sadly this would be my first meet. Some would call it "Slackery" but I chalk it up to just plain laziness. If you will still have me I will commit to making the drive from Lincoln.
