SATCAR is offering four track events this fall at tracks in the upper Midwest. These events will offer run groups for drivers school, lapping/practice (HPDE), and handicap race. All groups will be run to the HPDE/driving school track rules. There will also be lunch time touring.

The event dates are:
Blackhawk Farms Sept. 1
Grattan Raceway Sept. 27-28
GingerMan Raceway Oct. 18-19
Road America Nov. 1-2

Wow, this is pretty pricey. $300/day or $470 for a weekend.

The whole 'race your street car' with minimal saftey equipment thing is kind of 'interesting' too as noted in the Motorsports forum. Also the rules note street tires only. Sounds like this is going after a Novice type crowd.
