what days would be good for everyone? Or at least majority of people. I personally can't make it anywhere on Tuesdays and thurdays. How bout next Friday? And we also have to decide which place to go to. I have been to both places and like both. Chicago indoor you have more grip and smaller tracks, mpgp has a big track and the carts slide easly(drifting LOL)

I don't think now would be the time for this idea but maybe in the spring/summer. It is a little bit of a drive for some but in Norway, there is a Jet Karting track that has the option of renting carts. The carts are 6.5hp karts just like chicago except the track is much larger. Good lap times is ~51 seconds. If you come out to the track you will get to see the "real" karts too maybe giving some a new bite.

hey guys. i race karts at norway. i run in the 4stroke tag class. the rental cars there go about 30mph. the karts i race have 34hp and are geared for about 80mph on that track and pull 3-4 g's around the corners. kart racing is as close to an F1 car as you can get. when it warms up a bit, i can get a rental session with the 34hp karts if anyone is interested.

i used to road race cars until i got into one of these karts. i can guarantee that you will never have more fun in a four wheeled vehicle like this. going around a corner at 3 to 4 g's will knock the wind out of you! the real race karts make chicago indoor racing feel like you are driving a lawn mower compared to an evo.
