November 1st 2008: Evo Meet n' Greet: Indianapolis,IN
Hey everyone, this is the thread for our projected November 1st meet. From what I have been reading in the other post (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=287012&page=7) these are the people are a go for this:
1. Me of course (3 people in my party)
2. Hoongss
3. 05graphiteMR
4. BtownSoccer22
5. SyZyGy1394 (mentions of bringing a grill, I fit a 5 burner gas grill in mine once.. i am sure we could get it in one of ours if you need help... )
Anyone else that is interested post up here, and I am sure one of us will hit you up. If the whole park thing doesn't float your boat mention some places around Indy that you would think would be a nice place for a meet. Anyone who is under 21 let us know so we can make sure we don't plan something age related and you get excluded. I am also on board with btownsoccer's idea of just a place to eat and then go chill. I am on the North side of Indy, so also let us know where you be coming from so we can make this the easiest and least mileage trip for everyone.
Here is a generic list of stuff we will need:
1. Meat.. all kinds.. Chicken, Hamburger, Steak... if it is meat we need it
2. Chips and side items
3. Soft drinks/Beverages (I am sure most parks won't let us have alcohol, but we can try when we find the park or wherever we go.)
4. Condiments
5. Charcoal
6. Utensils, Cups and napkins
7. Coolers with Ice
8. Desserts
I want to have everyone on board by Oct. 27 before I reserve anything, and is everyone cool with whatever cost it is to reserve (if any) we split it all ways? Once again put ur input in here and we will all decide what seems to be the most fun. Take it easy everyone

I'm 19....Booo! Haha! I think your gas grill may be more convenient (transportation wise) than a charcoal one cause you can't turn off a charcoal one, it takes a bit to die down. That is if we decide to grill out.
Both hoongss and I are in downtown btw.

I'm under 21 so no like bars or strip joints lol unless you want to sneak me in ha. But I'm 100% in and one of my friends might be coming with me since he is going to purchase a Evo soon. I'm also coming from Bloomington so I don't want a long drive at all because driving back is a pain. If no one wants the hassle of cooking at a park and stuff we can just eat somewhere then chill which might seem "easier" but whatever works.

Sounds like a restaruante would be the best bet then. Just for the sake we take the weather element, cleanup work, and mess of getting stuff in our cars out of it then... Btown how far you willing to drive.. I know your about a 1 1/2 from where I am, but since we are doing a restaruant I not sure of the places to go on the southside of Indy being from the N-side... So I would look to some of the other people for that one. If no one has any ideas for the Southside you willing to drive 45 min north to Keystone/Nora area? I am sure Greenwood is where we will end up tho cause I know Hoongss mentioned that back in the first thread.
