One6 is a rip off all the work they do is on junk Honda Civics and based on my info the only place I would take my car is to APM. So you got ripped off for your clutch replacement...

Mark the owner of the shop did a great job, i just want to let ppl know that there is a place in chicagoland that will do you clutch for alot less then other chicagoland shops.

the total for all this labor, i provided all the parts, came out to $700, basically 550 for a clutch replacement

i received quotes of 800-900 from other places for just the clutch labor alone

so with that in mind i think i got a great deal.

For any info here is the website http://www.onesixmotorsports.com/

Mark is not a rip off, lol. He does own a shop and im sure in order to keep the place running if he would have charged anything less he would be losing money . . . which would defeat the purpose of owning a business.

you dont know what you are talking about. seems like your comment came out your *** man. mark has done work on various types of cars not just hondas.

and 450 for a clutch replacement is a deal compared to 900 at other places. if you know a reputable place that will do it for 200 bucks let us all know then!!!

so far my clutch works perfectly without any problems.

dont hate a shop just cause they fix other cars.

a shop would be out of bussiness if you only service one type of vehicle. even ams works on other things besides evos.

i went with a exedy clutch btw

i need to get my cams in by next week... i was thinking ams but they always rape you with install costs. what would be a good shop to do the install with not so high prices? would any of the shops above be good in price?

I am looking for a place to do my cams, springs and retainers, AMS does charge a lot but they always do a great job.

Dont quote me because u wrote you paid 700 and your provided all the parts. Maybe if you clairfied you paid 550 then I would not post anything. I used to pay 400-500 for a clutch install when I had my evo back in the day and having all the other stuff would be free because you do have to take down the downpipe to install a clutch.
