Chicago Area Car Scale?

Hey Guys,
Where can I go to weigh my car for free if possible? The only time I got the weight of the car was when I went for emissions testing, but I doubt they want me going up there if I'm not getting smog checked. The car is going to be going on a diet and would like a good starting point.

Any stone quarry would work as well, just pull on the scale look at the digi readout and take off before the butch scale house lady gets you ***.

Is it free and where is it at? I might have to swing by there when the car is back up and running.

Hey Cisco I need to know where this spot is as well. I need an accurate baseline weight for my car with a full tank of gas and everything in it. Let me know!

Jerry,
That scale is open around the clock; just need to make sure you pull in when no trucks are around. There is a sign that says no trespassing or something like that, but I haven't had any issues. I usually hit it up on the weekend when they aren't busy. It seems to be fairly accurate. My car is around 3000lbs w/ a little gas in the tank and 3180 w/ me in the car which is right around my weight. The place is just down the street from the Emissions testing station close to Irving Park.
