Ouch man! That's horrible, I'd be so upset. The stupid roads around here are what caused me to blow my front passenger Bilstein The roads up here suck D haha. Good luck with your wheels though man!

Yea, I almost got pulled over by the cops ( they pulled up next to me at a stop light ) and asked "Sir have you been drinking, you were swearving all over the road back there." and I said " No sir, I was just dodging all of the pot holes back there.." and they just laughed and said ok, be careful out there.

This is why race wheels belong on a race track and not a pot hole ridden streets. I think the damage is repairable at a wheel shop though...good luck man I feel your pain!

Insurance is giving me $1700 and change for the damage. The rims are being repaired for $180 right now and I'm taking them to be low temperature powder coated solid black tomorrow morning. Powder coating will cost $60 per rim. Unmounting cost $40 for all 4. Mounting and balancing will cost about $120 (Road Force)

Total repair cost = $580 (unless there's something wrong with the linkage and such. I'll find out in the next day or two.

I never really liked the red lip actually. I originally wanted just flat black TE37s to hide the break dust, but these were all I could find. Oh well, maybe it's all working out in the end.

A police report would show up on Carfax just like an insurance claim. I've ran lots of Carfax reports lately for a buddy of mine that's trying to get an Evo. Lots of them have police reports listed in their report.

Star Specs showed up today. I should be back to good in about a week.

Yeah, this state sucks. I've been lucky so far. Probably because I'm on 17s.

As far as I can tell, you got a large pile of insurance dough assuming I understand your situation. Did you just pocket like 1100+ or am I mistaken?? Dont get me wrong, I would be on a war path if that happened to my hard to find rims but seems like you just got an FMIC or something courtesy of State Farm or whomever. As far as Illinois goes, this is a bankrupt, corrupt, backwards state and I will be leaving as soon as it is economically feasible. Good luck with your fix.
