Dodging potholes is like a game here. In your case- Pothole:1 Evo:0. I didn't know insurance companies insure aftermarket parts. Did you have to pay an extra premium for that?

Nope. USAA is awesome.

Rims are in the bed of the truck ready to go to the powder coating shop. I'm going to get some other things done at the same time. I really need to get off my *** and weld on the tow hook to the front crash beam and then have the whole thing powder coated as well. It's sad when you can see the rust on your crash beam through the holes in the bumper cover.

I'm torn between satin black and gloss black for the wheels. There definitely won't be any more red ring. I just can't wait to get the Star Specs on them. Those Kuhmo tires were worthless at everything. Well, they did net me 1.7 60' times...

Illinois definitely does suck.

Make them pay for the wheels. They usually do.

Will your rates go up? WA is okay but with all the constant construction I nailed the crap outta a chunk of sidewalk that was lovingly placed in the middle of a road. Thankfully I didn't do any damage other than some marks on the underside but scared the crap out of me.

How much do you pay for insurance? I was going to switch over to USAA but I got a ridiculous quote from them.

Don't make insurance pay for it. Make the municipality or the state (whoever maintains the road) pay for it.

For all those interested, I'm getting them powder coated at The Blast Shop in Kenosha, WI.
